Every summer, my husband gets the family geared up to go camping. We decide on a weekend, pack up the car, gear, food, and set out for an adventure. Truthfully, while I’d probably pick a beachfront hotel over a rustic camping trip, I am always happy we go. From hikes by the river, to playing cards by the campfire, we are building memories as a family that will last a lifetime. Camping is the perfect excuse to go way lo-fi with your fashion and gear, yet every year, I think of new things I would have liked to bring along, and make a camping packing list for the next trip.

Camping Packing List
This month’s pop-in makes it easy to get ready for a camping getaway. Here are 6 must haves from the Pop-In that are on my camping packing list:
Cotopaxi Paray Packable Waterproof Windbreaker: You can’t go wrong with a lightweight packable windbreaker, like this one in a bright mint green. The durable rip-stop nylon makes it a good choice for light rain and wind and it boasts features like reflective coating and inside pockets. Bonus: this jacket’s space-saving design folds into itself so you can have more room for that great novel you are planning to read.
Jao Coiffett Bomade Hand, Hair & Nail Balm: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out camping or hiking and gotten cuts, hangnails and flyaway hairs. Enter: Jao’s Coiffett Bomade for hair, hands and nails. This little wonder product works in a bunch of different ways to combat everyday skin and hair woes. Toss it in your toiletry bag and you’ll be surprised by how many times you use it.
Snow Peak Mini Hozuki LED Lantern: Who wants to go to sleep just because the sun went down? Snow Peak’s Mini Hozuki LED Lantern provides rays for you to read, play cards or drink wine – all in a compact lamp. The design also makes any campsite super cute, and there is nothing wrong with that. This is a must-have to add to your camping packing list.
Cherry Bombe Magazine: My very favorite thing to do on any trip is to dive into a great read. While I love to pack a novel or two, Cherry Bombe Magazine also has awesome articles that pass the time in a relaxing way. Dip your toes in the river and sit back with issue 7 “Golden Girls”.
Stanley Adventure Stainless Steel Percolator: It literally would not be a good camping trip without a hot cup-o-joe in the early morning. I don’t think I can get my day started any other day. Stanley’s Adventure percolator makes six cups, so you don’t have to sacrifice the comforts of home on your trip. Add this to your camping packing list but you may also want to use it at home!
IMPOSSIBLE Project Polaroid 600 Round Frame Instant Color Film: Capture the memories from your trip with a Polaroid camera. IMPOSSIBLE project has made it their mission to bring back the use of retro Polaroid pictures. Their film offers amazing image quality and rounded corners for something unexpected.
