Get Back to Zen with YOGASMOGA Yoga Clothes

After four vendor calls in a row and a day of running from meeting to meeting, there is nothing I wish for more than some me time…ah zen. So I try to make it a priority to hit a yoga class or two during the week. I have been exploring new spots in the city, and wear testing my new YOGASMOGA yoga clothes.

With so many great workout apparel lines on the market, I was really interested in learning what set YOGASMOGA apart. I found out there are several reasons:

Made in the USA: The brand is based in New York and products can be purchased online at YOGASMOGA.com or at their Greenwich, CT and Los Angeles, CA stores. By using fabric made locally, they’ve created jobs and reduced time between production and delivery. I love that eco-friendly aspect.

High-Quality Fabrics: Upon receiving my YOGASMOGA yoga clothes, I knew immediately that they were of utmost quality. Thick fabrication, bold bright colors, and visually superior craftsmanship. In reading more about the products, I learned that their fabrics won’t pill. It contains Supplex^®technology which resists pilling and won’t be found in most mainstream workout fabrics. Even after washing and stretching, the fabric holds up beautifully.

I had the opportunity to try two pieces from the YOGASMOGA collection: The Tickle Me Tank and the Sweet ‘n Short. I loved the bright colors on both pieces. The tank had a built in bra and was made from super soft, breathable fabric. AURO MESH is a lightweight technical fabric blend which keeps the body cool. I really liked the design of this tank – different than the usual fitted cami, I appreciate a little extra tummy coverage. The Sweet ‘n Shorts were made from the same highly breathable AURUM^® fabric, packed with Supplex^® and Lycra^® for the best performance. I typically opt for a capri pant, but was glad to try out a new short. They fit great, and have a ‘no muffin top’ waistband as well as a slim fit through to the knee. Marrying great fit with function, the Sweet ‘n Short also has a built in secret pocket to hold a key or card.

A word about the YOGASMOGA website: They company makes it very easy to shop. With extensive sizing info, recommendations, videos and detailed fabric and product descriptions, it’s pretty close to being in a store with a sales associate.
