Heritage brands are having their moment these days, and Timberland is no exception. Known for their classic yellow worker boot originally launched in 1973, Timberland has built a brand known for quality, durability and good design.
This April, Timberland opened a specialty retail store in Bellevue Square, one of the Northwest’s largest shopping hubs. Seattleites near and far will now have more access to the brand’s ruggedly versatile products – from no-fail footwear to stylish rain jackets. All pieces made for the consumer who is on the go, whether taking to the trails or the urban streets of the city. The Bellevue location will boast a rock climbing wall, customization station and ‘social hub’ where customers can learn how to care for their products after they purchase.
To celebrate the new store opening and Spring / Summer 2016 Collection, Timberland hosted a small party with local bloggers at Westward on the water. If you live near Seattle and haven’t been to Westward Restaurant yet, put it on your list – the food and ambiance are equally divine.
Bloggers gathered to sip cocktails, nibble delicious bites and get a chance to view the latest collection of styles for men and women. I added a few items to my must-have list (and some for my husband), including a fabulous parka and flats. It was wonderful to see some of the products up close, mingle with local fashionistas and learn more about the brand.
