6 Shore Road is lounging luxury brought to the beach. With designs ranging from silky rompers to flowy caftans, each piece effortlessly takes you from day through the night with a sense of laid back glamour. Inspired by lazy Sundays spent at Sunset Beach on Shelter Island, 6 Shore Road designs are ideal for taking along to a sun-filled vacation, and would make the perfect Valentine’s Day Gift.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to wear-test a piece from the 6 Shore Road collection. The silky little romper pictured above (top left) is not only ultra-cute, but it transitions easily from day to evening, making it an essential beachwear travel piece. I had high hopes of posting a photo of me in it for you. But, given it’s the middle of winter here in Seattle, I would not want to subject even my dearest friends to the paleness that is my body! Hopefully, I can add a photo after I’ve had some sunshine this summer.
I plan to wear this romper on vacation in Southern CA this year as a swimsuit cover-up and then to the clubhouse for cocktails. I’ll add light cashmere cardigan for chilly evenings. Perfect with flat strappy sandals, or even a wedge heel. I really love the feel of the fabric – soft high-quality silk. The deep gunmetal grey and lighter clay is one of my favorite color combos. Detailing like back mock-pockets and gold buttons set it apart from your basic beachwear, and add a bit of glamour.
Pieces in the 6 Shore Road collection range from $49 – $150 (the silk romper I tried retails for $89) and can be found at any W Hotel location, as well as online at Revolve Clothing.
