Bravata Salon
Spring has sprung, and what better way to transition into the season than with a nice, relaxing trip to the salon for some highlights! This past Fall through the Winter, I darkened my hair a lot, and I decided to give the ombré look a shot. It was nice for a change, but the warming weather had me itching to go for a sun kissed, beachy blonde tone to match my new tan (thank you Australian Gold!)
With no further adieu, I booked an appointment at my favorite salon, Bravata, in the Mill Creek Town Center. I’ve been going here for years, but my signature stylist just moved away, so I booked an appointment with Kerri. I saw on the website that Kerri specialized in working with blondes, and she sure proved it! I could not be happier with the way it turned out.
Usually when I go more blonde, I mentally prepare myself for all of the reparative masks I will have to use, just to get my hair to be manageable again after the bleaching process. Mind you, I came into this appointment with a decent amount of brown in my hair left over from my ombré phase, but after this partial foil, the brown was lifted and I was left with luscious, golden locks that were (gasp) frizz-free! Naturally, my hair is a curly-frizzy mess, but the Paul Mitchell Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner worked miracles on my locks, even after a bleaching session!
Before styling my hair sleek straight, Kerri spritzed some Hot Off the Press heat spray onto my hair after drying it on medium heat. The smell of the spray is heavenly, not to mention how pin- straight and soft it left the strands!
Previously known as Celsius Salon, Bravata has now renovated the space with neutral decór, magnificent mirrors at each station, and an extensive supply of products up for purchase.
