As they always say, never let a good thing go.
Nine years ago, as I was eagerly prepping for my wedding day, I met Becca on the referral of a good friend of mine. The first time I sat in her chair, we clicked! She was open, friendly, and listened to my needs as a client. She ended up doing an intricate wedding-day updo that I adored.
Cut to 2014, and I am still seeing Becca and couldn’t be happier. She is a genius at color, and a guru at haircuts. Always taking and teaching classes, she is passionate about learning and applies up-to-the-minute learnings in her work. We’ve tried many looks over the years, and I am always happy with the results!
Last week, I went in for my usual cut and color, and took some time to take in the whole Robert Leonard Salon and Day Spa experience. We are all busy, moving from one meeting to the next, constantly connected by our phones. But the moment you step into Robert Leonard Salon, you will instantly feel relaxed and can easily unplug. I was greeted by friendly desk attendants and a bountiful bouquet of roses (from Robert’s garden no less). After a swift check-in, I changed into a robe, grabbed a cup of tea, and sat back and relaxed in the quiet waiting room. In a matter of minutes, I was greeted by Becca’s assistant and taken to her chair where she met me with a smile. We chatted about the plan for my hair. As usual, I wanted blonde, blonde, blonde, and she happily accommodated and quickly whipped up some magic.

While I was there Becca recommended a couple products by Davines and Oribe. Davines OI/All in One Milk is like a miracle in a bottle. When sprayed on damp hair, it adds shine and softness, detangles and fights frizz. Best part for me is it makes hair easier to comb – major bonus. Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray is seriously AMAZING. A beauty arsenal must-have, the formula lifts roots, cuts frizz and adds shine. Perfect for adding body to limp hair and removing oil. I am literally obsessed with this spray and have been taking it to work for a mid-day spruce up.

At Robert Leonard, it is very apparent that they put their clients first. During my appointment, Becca had a client come in who thought she had an appointment booked, and instead of turning her away, she fit her in! Somehow, my experience remained seemless with no additional wait time. Becca has been at RL since 1999 and took ownership of the company in 2008. Her commitment to clients is highly apparent. She and her team have built an amazing staff that truly care about the customer.
